Pamela Anderson collects pop art to enhance her ”sexy life”.

The legendary Playboy pin-up has opened up on her passion for art collecting, especially the genre made famous by Andy Warhol and Ed Ruscha, and she buys all her pieces to display at her home, never as investments.

Speaking to the Financial Times, she said: ”Pop art is fearless and authentic. I can have long conversations about it until the sun comes up and always say that artists are the freedom fighters of the world … I think artists have a responsibility to talk about the state of the world. They can’t care what people think. There’s all this politically correct stuff we have to dance around these days, and it’s really refreshing to have people who’ll speak out. It’s about having a sense of humour too. Just recently someone sent me a picture with the words, ‘Pamdemic… you can’t flatten her curve.

”I have works by Ed Ruscha, Richard Prince and David LaChapelle … I don’t buy art as an investment. All my art is displayed. I really believe in sharing it … I don’t know, it’s just part of living a sexy life. It’s a little bit Wild Westy.

”I’d like to own a Warhol, maybe an Electric Chair, and maybe an Old Master, but I’m not a Rothschild.”

The former ‘Baywatch’ actress – who has inspired art works by the likes of Marc Quinn and Jeff Koons – is friends with a lot or artists who tell her that her celebrity status and blonde bombshell persona make her a living piece of performance art, and she has come to reappraise her Playboy covers as pop art.

Pamela – who is the creative director of the social media webcamming site Jasmin – added: ”I’m lucky to have a lot of good friends who are artists … Richard Prince, Ed Ruscha, Jeff Koons – that’s good company. And David LaChapelle and Sante D’Orazio. They tell me that every time I walk out the door it’s performance art. You know, they kind of look at me as a living work of pop art, which is a great compliment. I’ve been asked if I think of the Playboy covers I did as pop art, and looking back, yeah, I think so.”

Drew Barrymore was overjoyed to have “made the list” to receive some Ivy Park “swag” from Beyonce.

The ’50 First Dates’ star admitted it was the “coolest moment” of her life when she was sent some goodies from the ‘Crazy in Love’ hitmaker’s latest collection.

She captioned a series of Instagram snaps of her wearing the mustard-coloured cropped hoodie: “Thank you @beyonce for the @weareivypark swag!! #madethelist #coolestmomentofmylife (sic)”

The top is from the Adidas x Ivy Park collaboration named ‘DRIP 2’, which launched in October.

The head-turning looks range from a peach tracksuit to a neon green full-length bodysuit to a light blue leotard, with the focus set on striking colours that combine workout gear with streetwear.

Also included in the line is an office-ready option, which features a sky-blue pantsuit complete with flared trousers and a sharp blazer, although the smart outfit is made casual with green Adidas stripes running down the side of the pant legs and sleeves.

There are also a range of bags and footwear to accompany the stylish clothes.

Meanwhile, Drew recently took to Twitter to share how “proud” she is that her own cruelty-free make-up line, Flower Beauty, is available 3,000 CVS Stores in the US.

Kristen Bell | Kristen Bell asks her Instagram followers if she should get a perm

kristen bell c instagram 2193909

Kristen Bell has asked her Instagram followers if she should get her hair permed.

The ‘Frozen II’ star showed off the wavy look she was left with from taking her braided hair out after wearing a wig for an undisclosed acting role she’s been filming this week.

And she asked her 14.7 million followers whether she should get a perm so she can have it as her regular style.

Alongside a selfie of her crinkled locks, which she tagged her hair stylist Brian Steven Banks in, she wrote: “I’m in a wig for my current movie. When I take my braided hair out at the end of the week, this is what I get. And I am INTO IT. Do I need to get a perm??? In addition, yes. I am slightly cross eyed. Always have been, always will be. G’NIGHT! (sic)”

Meanwhile, the 40-year-old actress recently revealed she practises self-care to keep her “sanity intact”.

The ‘Good Place’ star – who recently released her CBD skincare line, Happy Dance – insisted self-care shouldn’t be “event-ised”.

She explained: “One thing I’ve learned during this pandemic is that I really like and need to take baths. The only time I am allowed to lock the door in my house is when I’m taking a bath … Self-care is not something to be ‘event-ised’.

“It’s something I need daily to keep my sanity intact. Self-care isn’t leaving the house for a manicure with your girlfriends once a month – that’s just leaving the house for a manicure with your girlfriends once a month.”

Margot Robbie | Margot Robbie to replace Emma Stone in Babylon

Margot Robbie is in talks to replace Emma Stone in ‘Babylon’.

Emma, 32, has exited the cast of Damien Chazelle’s upcoming Old Hollywood epic due to a scheduling conflict, and it has now been reported that Margot, 30, is being lined up by producers to replace her, according to The Wrap.

If Margot does land the role, she’ll be reuniting with her ‘Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood’ co-star Brad Pitt, who remains attached as the film is still moving forward.

‘Babylon’ is being distributed by Paramount, who have currently slated the production for a Christmas Day 2021 release, although the movie was supposed to begin filming in Los Angeles before the coronavirus pandemic put a halt to plans, so it’s unclear whether the release will be pushed back.

While plot details are still being kept under wraps, the film is reportedly a period drama set in the late 1920s and early ’30s in Hollywood at the turn in the movie industry between silents and talkies.

‘Babylon’ will be produced by Olivia Hamilton, Matt Plouffe, Marc Platt, and Tobey Maguire.

Meanwhile, Brad is also set to star in the upcoming David Leitch movie ‘Bullet Train’, which is based on the Japanese Novel ‘Maria Beetle’ by Kotaro Isaka.

Brad will star alongside Zazie Beetz, Michael Shannon, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Logan Lerman and Andrew Koji in the production, which tells the story of a group of assassins with different motives aboard a train in Tokyo, Japan.

Leitch – who helmed ‘Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw’ – and his wife Kelly McCormick will produce the film, through their company 87North, as will Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick, while Brittany Morrissey will executive produce.
