Myleene Klass had a relaxed attitude to her figure after giving birth.
The 42-year-old singer is mother to daughters Ava, 11 and Hero, eight, and son Apollo, 12 months and admitted that having children in her twenties, thirties and forties has boosted her body-confidence.
She told OK! magazine: ”When I first became a mum it felt like going through a wind tunnel every single day. Now I know I don’t have all the answers but I feel more confident in my choices.
”I remember getting back in a bikini six weeks after having my daughters. When I look back, I think ‘What was I doing?”’
Myleene recently celebrated Apollo’s first birthday and paid a gushing tribute to the ”incredible” little boy but joked that lockdown has meant she and boyfriend Simon Motson haven’t had much sleep.
The former Hear’Say singer said: ”He is the most incredible little boy who is so loved by us all, and he bought us even closer together.
”We’ve not been able to have any help, so we’ve just been passing him between us while we work, but it has been a special time for all of us.”
Klass revealed that she is in no rush to get married to Simon, having been left heartbroken after former husband Graham Quinn – father to Ava and Hero – walked out on her back in 2012.
She said of tying the knot with Motson: ”I personally know better than to plan because things never go as planned. I never knew I’d meet Simon and that I’d have another baby, I never knew that I’d be part of a blended family.”
Michael Jai White Doubts Jamie Foxx Befits Mike Tyson Role in Biopic
The ‘Spawn’ star, who has portrayed the boxing legend in 1995’s HBO movie ‘Tyson’, has some reservations about Foxx’s physical transformation for the upcoming film.
Michael Jai White has thrown a subtle shade at Jamie Foxx ahead of the latter’s portrayal of Mike Tyson in an upcoming biopic. Having played the former boxing champion in 1995’s HBO movie “Tyson”, the 52-year-old actor has weighed in on the forthcoming movie starring Foxx as the retired athlete.
Speaking to VladTV, the “Spawn” star cast his doubt that the “Django Unchained” actor would be able to pull off portraying the former world heavyweight champion. His reservations mostly came from Foxx’s physical transformation, which he deemed not up to standards to channel the former heavyweight boxer.
“If there’s another angle that Jamie’s pulling out then, hey that’s cool. That’s a helluva undertaking for him,” said White in an interview. When Vlad mentioned that Foxx has “bulked up” for the role, White insinuated that the pictures of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” star which have been circulating online cannot be trusted.
“I don’t believe a lot of stuff in pictures, ’cause when I see him-we’ve got a lot of friends in common. When I see him it’s like, ‘Did he just lose weight to catch this flight?’ ” he said. Noting that he’s “not going to disparage anything,” he added, “but you kinda know how-it’s clickbait.”
White went on noting that bulking up to gain muscle like Tyson in such a short time can pose to be a serious health issue. While he was able to do it for the TV movie, he was unsure if Foxx could handle the physical demands.
The still-untitled Mike Tyson biopic has been in development since 2014. Earlier this year, Foxx confirmed that the project is finally happening, with him teasing his transformation for the role during Mark Birnbaum’s Instagram Live series “Catching Up With Mark Birnbaum” in June.
“Every other day, I do 60 pull-ups, we do 60 dips, we do 100 push-ups,” Foxx said of his preparation for the movie. While his fitness routine has already changed the upper half of his body, the Academy Award-winning actor revealed that they would still need CGI and prosthetic to complete his transformation.
“I ain’t got no calf muscles, so we’re gonna have to get some prosthetics for that,” he shared. He added that he aimed to be 216lbs when filming starts as he plays a younger version of the boxer, and then he will “balloon to 225, 230 which will look like 250 on screen.”
Jason Priestley | Jason Priestley: Shannen Doherty has ‘always been a fighter’ as she battles cancer
The ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ star is battling stage four cancer and her former co-star has been incredibly supportive of Shannen and knows she will ”fight”.
Speaking to Australia’s Studio 10, he said: ”I reach out to Shannen every few months, just to check in on her and say hi. Shannen’s a real tough girl, and Shannen’s a fighter and she’s always been a fighter and I know that she will continue to fight as hard as she can.”
Meanwhile, Jason previously admitted he was ”heartbroken” over Shannen’s cancer diagnosis.
The 50-year-old actor said: ”I reached out to her yesterday when the news broke. She’s overwhelmed with well wishers and with people reaching out to her. I haven’t heard back from her yet, but I’m sure that I will very soon. Shannen was a big part of my life. Shannen and I will always have a bond that is very meaningful. I’m very heartbroken about the news and I wish her and her family the best in this very difficult time.”
Shannen revealed her diagnosis this week, when she admitted she’s still struggling to ”process” the news.
The 48-year-old actress said: ”It’s going to come out in a matter of days or a week that – I’m stage four. So my cancer came back. And that’s why I’m here. I don’t think I’ve processed it. It’s a bitter pill to swallow in a lot of ways. I definitely have days where I say why me. And then I go, well, why not me? Who else? Who else besides me deserves this? None of us do. But I would say that my first reaction is always concern about how – how am I going to tell my mom, my husband.”
Ellen DeGeneres’ Staff Not Impressed by Her Apology in Season Premiere
A current employee of ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ describes the host’s monologue on the first episode of season 18 as a scheme to ‘get viewers back’ because it’s premiere week.
Ellen DeGeneres‘ apology to her current and former talk show employees fell flat on Monday (21Sep20) – they’ve accused her of using their issues to pump up ratings.
The TV personality returned to her studio to kick off the 18th season of her show and immediately addressed complaints from staffers about the toxicity behind the scenes on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show“.
Many employees claimed DeGeneres had turned her back on misconduct in the workplace, prompting the “Finding Dory” star to apologise to staff earlier this summer.
Following an investigation, three producers were fired and Ellen insisted she’d be making some changes to improve conditions and the workplace culture, but she waited for the 18th season premiere to address the public about the attack on her reputation as the “be kind lady” – and current and past employees were not happy with the way she started the show.
“Not only did Ellen turn my trauma, turn our traumas, into a joke, she somehow managed to make this about her,” one former employee told Buzzfeed News. “When she said, ‘Oh, my summer was great’ and that was supposed to be funny I thought, ‘It’s funny that you had a rough summer because everyone was calling out all of the allegations of your toxic work environment and now you’re the one suffering?’ ”
A current employee questioned the timing of the apology, “It’s always tactical. The average person will listen to it and make their own choices, but what people don’t always take into account is that information is power, and she’s sharing it now because it’s for premiere week and it’s to get viewers back, and that just feels the opposite of what this message is about.”
Another former staffer added, “When you’re talking about people who have accused her leadership of the seriousness of sexual misconduct, I don’t think it’s appropriate to have jokes in the monologue.”
During her opening monologue, Ellen said, “As you may have heard, this summer there were allegations of a toxic work environment at our show and then there was an investigation. I learned that things happened here that never should have happened. I take that very seriously and I want to say I am so sorry to the people who were affected. I know that I’m in a position of privilege and power and I realise that with that comes responsibility, and I take responsibility for what happens at my show…”
“Being known as the ‘be kind’ lady is a tricky position to be in. So let me give you some advice out there if anybody’s thinking of changing their title or giving yourself a nickname, do not go with the ‘be kind’ lady. Don’t do it. The truth is I am that person that you see on TV.”
