Jack Harlow Denies JW Lucas’ Credit in Hit ‘Whats Poppin’ After Controversial Breonna Taylor Remarks
The 22-year-old quickly distances himself from the hip-hop producer in a now-deleted tweet after the latter lands in hot water for his comments about the murder of the black woman.
Jack Harlow wants no part in JW Lucas‘ drama. Shortly after the latter came under fire for his controversial comments on the murder of Breonna Taylor, the rapper distances himself from hip-hop music producer, who is credited as one of the producers for his hit “Whats Poppin”.
On Thursday, July 30, the 22-year-old artist claimed that he ever met with Lucas and denied that the producer was one of the creative minds behind his chart-topping single. “I’ve never met or spoken to that JW Lucas person. And he didn’t even produce WHATS POPPIN. Jetson and Pooh made it. That’s all,” he wrote in a now-deleted tweet.
Jack Harlow distanced himself from JW Lucas.
Harlow’s claim is contradicting the fact that Lucas has always been listed as producer alongside Jetson Made, Pooh Beatz as well as Los the Producer in the song’s credits. Lucas has not responded to Harlow’s tweet.
The music producer started catching flak earlier on Thursday after he posted a tweet in which he seemed to justify the murder of the 26-year-old black woman. He wrote on the micro-blogging site, “Why is the world asking for justice for #BreonnaTaylor…of course she shouldn’t have lost her life….but do you realize that she was involved with multiple drug dealers who were using her house as a trap spot? If you sign up for that life there are consequences.”
The backlash was almost immediate, but Lucas did not think he said anything wrong and defended himself during an Instagram Live session. Responding to people who accused him of being a white supremacist, Lucas said, “That ain’t me. I don’t give a f**k about what color skin I have.” He then lashed out at people who said that he was canceled because of his tweet.
He later got into a heated argument with activist Tamika Mallory and proudly stated that he should be a leader of the Black Lives Matter movement because he believed that he’s more capable than her.
Kristen Bell Proud of Daughter’s Hilarious Bathroom Prank on Dad Dax Shepard
The ‘Veronica Mars’ star can’t stop giggling over the bathroom surprise that one of her daughters has prepared for her father, praising the two girls’ ‘sense of humor.’
Kristen Bell could not be prouder of her spawn for managing to pull a hilarious prank. On Friday, September 18, the “Veronica Mars” star shared a video in which she showed off a bathroom surprise one of her daughters had prepared for her actor husband Dax Shepard.
The 40-year-old made use of her Instagram account to publicize what her daughter has done. In the clip shared, she walked into the bathroom to find a tiny toilet complete with yellow water and chocolate chip. Standing over the toilet was a naked Ken doll. “A joke for her dad: I absolutely love my daughters sense of humor,” she captioned.
“Pls note the attention to detail: yellow food coloring and chocolate chips,” the actress, who voiced Anna in “Frozen (2013)” further noted as referring to the realistic-looking pee and poop inside the toy toilet. She, however, did not specify which one of her daughters, 7-year-old Lincoln or 5-year-old Delta, who set up the prank.
Kristen was not the only one left amused by the prank. A number of Instagram users found it to be hilarious as well. One commented, “pls you have the funniest daughters.” Another wrote, “BAHAHAHAHAHAHA I LITERALLY CAN’T STOP LAUGHING.” A third expressed appreciation for the antics as stating, “I had the s**ttiest week at college but this video made me smile so much, so thankful for you.”
Hours before sharing the prank video, Kristen gushed over Dax’s devotion to their children. Reposting an upload by her husband that documented him shaving his hair to match their daughter Lincoln’s haircut, “The Good Place” star raved, “I love this man so much. He wanted to twin with our daughter.”
In the original post, Dax himself credited Sara Bareilles for giving his daughters an anthem with her “Armor” track. He added, “She requested a specific haircut a few days ago, and now I want to match her :).” His upload was received positively by Sara who in return replied, “This is the best best best. Thank you for being a kick a** dad for strong young women! #handmemyhaircut.”
Lars Ulrich | Lars Ulrich: Motorhead knew how to ‘unite’ people
Lars Ulrich believes Motörhead was the first band to ”really unite fans” from multiple different genres.
The Metallica drummer has heaped praise on the English rock band – who rose to fame in the late 1970s and early 1980s – for their ability to captivate music fans from multiple different genres, as he recalls the music scene being ”very segregated” at the height of their fame.
Speaking to Classic Rock magazine as the publication celebrates 40 years since the release of Motörhead’s hit album, ‘Ace of Spades’, Lars said: ”I think when you write the story of ‘Ace Of Spades’ you have to remind people of the time. Back in 1980, the music world was way more segregated than it is now. So if you were a heavy metal guy there was a particular look, a uniform. If you were a punk kid it was the same, or an alternative kid if you liked Joy Division or whatever. Everything was very segregated, especially in England. The one thing that was different about Motörhead was that they united people from all these different genres.
Lars, 56, believes ”everybody loved Motörhead” at the time, and credited the band with ”blowing away” any division in music.
He added: ”So all these punks, skinheads, alternative kids and metal kids… f****** everybody loved Motörhead. In a time of division and segregation and ‘F*** you, you can’t be in my gang’ and ‘I don’t wanna be in your gang’ and ‘We’ll beat each other up, football hooligan-style’, Motörhead were the first band to really unite fans across all these different genres. They blew away all that division. That’s the important piece remember in the story of Motörhead.”
And the fellow rock legend also praised Motörhead – who disbanded in 2015 following the death of founding member Ian ‘Lemmy’ Kilmister – for being ”transparent” about who they were, and acting like the ”friends” of their fans.
He explained: ”There was an honesty to Motörhead and it was so f****** transparent. Kids of my generation, we loved Led Zeppelin, we loved Kiss, we loved all these different bands, but they were larger-than-life characters – with Kiss, like cartoon figures. But Motörhead were the guys next door, the guys down the pub. Motörhead were our friends. Motörhead were who we were.”
Dixie D’Amelio Gets Sarcastic in Response to Critics Saying She Copies Sister Charli
Taking to her Twitter account to respond to the critics, the social media star says, ‘I would like to publicly apologize for fixing my nose…i forgot its only one broken nose per family.’
Dixie D’Amelio simply wanted to open up about her plastic surgery journey. However, instead of receiving support from her social media followers, the TikTok star was accused of copying her sister, Charli D’Amelio, who recently also got her nose done.
Dixie shared on her TikTok account on Friday, September 18 a video of her sporting bandage after her surgery. Soon after the clip was uploaded, people started accusing her of copying her sister Charlie. “Why is Dixie trying to be like Charli,” one person said. “It’s the trying to be Charli for me,” another wrote.
Meanwhile, someone else was being sarcastic, “Suddenly the whole family got breathing problems?” On the other hand, an individual echoed the sentiment, “Didn’t know the whole family got broken noses and breathing problems.” There was also someone who said, “Charli: Time to get surgery. Dixie: Wait for me.”
Dixie caught wind of the accusation and refused to remain silent just like that. Getting all sarcastic, the 19-year-old social media star said, “I would like to publicly apologize for fixing my nose…i forgot its only one broken nose per family…i’m sorry for copying you [email protected] 🙁 wont happen again!!”
She added in a separate tweet, telling her critics, “y’all better keep the same energy when charli gets her wisdom teeth out…istg.”
Dixie had similar breathing problems like Charli, who revealed that she broke her nose last year and has been struggling to breathe ever since. Charli said at the time, “Fun story time so I broke my nose in August and ever since then I have had breathing problems in my right nostril. I was supposed to have surgery in November to fix it but then I started having problems in my left nostril and now I can barely breathe out of my nose at all.”
